Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Betudy (https://betudy.com and https://app.betudy.com), operated by Betudy Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using Betudy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

2. Service Description

Betudy is a personal brand portfolio editor that helps users create, manage, and publish professional portfolio websites. Our service includes:

  • Portfolio content editing with AI assistance
  • Brand project management
  • Custom domain support (Pro plan)
  • Media storage and optimization
  • Public portfolio site hosting

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Betudy.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.
  • Accounts are non-transferable and you may not share your login credentials with others.

4. Subscription Plans

Betudy offers the following plans:

Free Plan:

  • Unlimited projects
  • 1 published site
  • 100MB total storage
  • 10MB per upload
  • Basic AI assistance

Pro Plan ($9/month or $90/year):

  • Everything in Free
  • Brand Projects
  • Unlimited published sites
  • Custom domain support
  • 5GB total storage
  • 50MB per upload
  • Full AI assistance

Prices are in USD. For users in South Korea, payments are processed in KRW at the current exchange rate.

5. Payment & Billing

  • Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
  • International payments are processed by Paddle.com (Merchant of Record) in USD.
  • Payments in South Korea are processed by Toss Payments in KRW.
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be calculated at checkout.

6. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings > Billing.
  • Upon cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
  • After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.
  • Your content is never deleted upon downgrade, but some features may become restricted.

7. User Content

  • You retain full ownership of all content you create on Betudy.
  • You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to operate the service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
  • We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service to distribute malware or spam
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

9. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with 30 days notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Betudy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • We will provide reasonable notice when possible
  • You may export your content before termination takes effect
  • Refunds for terminated accounts are handled per our Refund Policy

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.
