Refund Policy

1. Subscription Plans

Betudy offers Free, Pro, and Business subscription plans. Each plan includes different feature limits and capabilities. Current pricing is available at betudy.com/pricing and within the app at Settings > Billing.

  • Annual plans are billed as a single payment at a discounted rate compared to monthly billing.
  • All prices are listed in USD. For users in Korea, prices are displayed in KRW based on the current exchange rate at the time of purchase.

2. Payment Methods

  • International payments: Processed via Paddle (Merchant of Record). Paddle handles all tax compliance, invoicing, and payment processing.
  • Korean payments (KRW): Processed via Toss Payments. Recurring billing is managed via billing key authorization.

3. Billing Cycle

  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • Annual subscriptions renew automatically every 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • You will receive a payment receipt via email for each successful charge.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings > Billing.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your current plan’s features until the end of the current billing period.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused time remaining in the billing period upon cancellation.
  • You may resubscribe at any time before the billing period ends to restore your subscription.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Eligibility

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Within 7 days of the initial purchase or renewal — full refund.
  • After 7 days — refunds are generally not available, except in cases of:
    • Duplicate charges
    • Technical issues preventing service access
    • Unauthorized charges

5.2 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with:

  • Your account email address
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Transaction ID or receipt (if available)

We aim to process all refund requests within 3-5 business days.

5.3 Refund Processing

  • Paddle (International): Refunds are processed by Paddle and will appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
  • Toss Payments (Korea): Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days and credited to the original payment method.

5.4 Effect of Refund

Upon refund approval:

  • Your subscription will be immediately downgraded to the Free plan.
  • Access to paid features will be revoked immediately.
  • Your data will be retained and accessible under Free plan limitations.

6. Free Trial

Betudy does not currently offer free trials. The Free plan is available indefinitely with limited features.

7. Price Changes

  • We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days’ prior notice.
  • Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
  • Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price change takes effect.
